It is sad that we have reach a point where Bible Scholars when they can no longer find Scripture to support the sinful evolutionary thinking of the post modern age resort to the “inventions of the mind” to justify sins. Opinions are the invention of the mind and when people of influence have some new fancy people are afraid to be left behind so they embrace these inventions without giving facts to support their conclusion.
Many preachers of the 21st century despise Expository preaching because it anchors the lesson to a specific Biblical context dealing with a specific sin or human problem. The discussion of “same sex” unions to be classified as marriage redefines God’s purpose for marriage and humankind. Some have taken a stand both religious folk and non-religious that all that matters is for people to have an opportunity to be loved and to be happy. The key word and idea being love.
Evolutionary thinking leans toward a human wisdom that is imperfect at best and devastating at it’s worst. Yes everyone deserves to be love but love must be perform in the context and rules that Jehovah Elyon, The Lord God, The Maker. the “One to be worship” set in place from the beginning .
